To help celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8) and Women’s History Month (March), I along with some of WordPress’s best bloggers are teaming up to shine a spotlight on some of our favorite fearless females from movies, comics, television, and beyond.
This week’s entry is from the very amazing and talented Nancy from Graphic Novelty². Nancy and Kathleen (who will also have an entry in the Fiction’s Fearless Females series) have an incredible site where they review great graphic novel, YA books, and contemporary novels. Swing by and give it a browse.
For her entry into “Fiction’s Fearless Females”, Nancy chose the strong and “no-nonsense” Captain of the U.S.S. Voyager, Captain Kathryn Janeway from the Star Trek franchise.
It’s a fantastic read about Captain Janeway’s place among the strong women in the Star Trek Universe and how she was a brilliant Captain among some of the series’ most iconic Captains.

No problem, Nancy. I was also a fan of Janeway and I’ve always liked Kate Mulgrew. This was a great post. Fiction’s Fearless Females has had a great start!
