In this episode i revisit the 80s video game classic, Mega Man. I probably haven’t played this since it was original released on the NES, so as you could guess…I’m horrible at it. This time, I played it on the Legends Flashback. Continue reading “Mega Man (NES, 1987)”
To help celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8) and Women’s History Month (March), I along with some of WordPress’s best bloggers are teaming up to shine a spotlight on some of our favorite fearless females from movies, comics, television, and beyond.
For my contribution to this celebration I chose the subject of 80s cartoons (Shocker!!). Before I begin let me say that there are dozens of fearless, headstrong, and strong female characters in the world of 80s cartoons. Last year for Fiction’s Fearless Females celebration I did a video for Scarlett, G.I. Joe’s counter intelligence operative and first female character. Scarlett is a very popular character in the world of 80s cartoons, so this time i wanted to talk about some great characters that are lost to time (kinda). This week’s theme is animated music videos.
They range in styles and mediums, just like the music itself. The importance of music videos in the 1980s is often taken for granted. With freedom to create “shorts” in many different styles, music videos helped the flow of art and creativity for many people making the videos and watching them. Anyway, on to the videos….
Finding inspiration for this week’s theme wasn’t that hard. In fact, come Monday morning (or every morning in my case) it’s something that smacks you right in the face…work.
Welcome to Tunesday!

It’s that time again for me to talk about more toys I wish I had as a kid.
Here’s a new trailer for the channel for the year 2020. I took a lot of inspiration from classic sitcom intros from the 80s. I hope you like it.
In this episode I go over some of my favorite COPS action figures. COPS was one of my favorite toy lines in the 80s and it was fun to take a look at some of the best.
In this episode I revisit the world of Weird, Rare, and Awesome products. This time i take a look at more G.I. Joe products from the 80s.
In this episode I open up a package from http://zaninibox.com and find some awesome G.I. Joe pins and a plethora of other amazing pop culture and 80s nostalgic enamel pins. Everything from Stranger Things to Thundercats!
