Marvel Had A Bigger Impact On Our Childhoods Than You Remember.

Before they were the powerhouse that they are today, Marvel was a struggling company that was trying to find some way to stay afloat. Marvel took a lot of chances trying to find a way to become finally successful again. One of those chances was to buy an animation production company and start producing animation of their own.

That was the start of Marvel Productions, a great animation company that ran from 1981 to 1993. Under the Marvel Productions banner a lot of great cartoons were created based on some of the 80s biggest icons.

Here is a quick history of the cartoons they made through out the 80s. Maybe one day I’ll discuss the ups and downs of Marvel and what led them to be bought by Disney, but this episode is all about the cartoons we grew up with. I hope you enjoy!
