Best G.I. Joe Figure Accessories (83-84)

In my humble opinion, G.I. Joe is one of the best toylines ever created. On top of well thought out characters, designs, and story, G.I. Joe had some of the best accessories for their figures. Here is a list of some of the best from the first three waves of the toyline between 1983 and 1984.

Issue #31 – Jabba the Hutt & Rescue Rangers

In this Issue of IT CAME FROM… My Side of the Laundry Room I show-off a really great Jabba the Hutt figure from the Star Wars Black Series that was donated by a fan -and- I open and play with some original Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Ranger Happy Meal toys from 1989.

Issue #29 – 100 Year Old Kid’s Books & G.I. Joe Figures

I don’t have a lot of Christmas themed toys or items to share but I thought it would be neat to look at some Christmas gifts my grandfather received when he was a small child, books. These books were all published over a hundred years ago and it blows my mind that I can touch, read, and even smell something this old and special. To balance out the episode I also grab a Fist Full of Joes

Toys I Wish I Had As A Kid – Christmas Edition

Well it’s that time of year again. Lights are twinkling, there’s music in the air, and i remember some of the times Santa ripped me off. These are some of the toys I remember asking Santa for when i was a kid and for one reason or another they never made it under the tree.

This is a return of sorts as I use to write about all the toys I wanted as a kid but never got. Most of those stories revolved around my parents dropping the ball but this time it falls squarely on the shoulders of the holly jolly con artist, Santa Claus.

As always this is meant to be fun and just a good way to remember some great toys from our childhood. Enjoy!
